Siasia picks 26 for camping in Morocco

Head coach of Nigeria’s U-23 team, Samson Siasia, has selected 26 home-based players, for the training camp in Morocco ahead of the African U-23 Nations Cup.

The tournament in Senegal, will serve as qualifiers for the 2016 Olympics football event.

Siasia picked the 26 players from the 35, who were initially invited to camp in Abuja.

The team will depart for Morocco, where they will be joined by their foreign-based team-mates.
Nigeria are in Group B, alogn with Egypt, Algeria and Mali. The tournament will take place from November 28 to December 12.
