Traders and shop-owners in a mechanic village in
the Isolo area of Lagos State, South-west Nigeria, are now counting their
losses after a midnight fire that ravaged some shops there, resulting in the
death of three sisters.
The three children – aged five, seven, and
twelve, were reportedly left in one of the shops by their guardian before the
fire incident.
Their corpses are said to have since been removed
by Policemen from the Ejigbo Division.
Another fire incident was also reported to have
happened on Toyin street in Ikeja, destroying five lock-up shops and a part of
Divine International Hotel, but no life was lost in the incident.
