Atiku delivers Letter of thanks on behalf of Buhari to Zuma on Adesina election.

Nigeria’s former Minister of agriculture, Akinwunmi Adesina, was recently
elected as the president of the Africa Development Bank (AfDB).
During the campaigning, then President-elect Muhammadu Buhari
delegated Atiku to meet South Africa’s President Jacob Zuma and lobby
him on Adesina’s behalf.

Now, following Adesina’s win, Atiku was once again in South Africa with
Adesina where they met Zuma and delivered a letter of thanks from
Nigeria’s new President Muhammadu Buhari.

Meanwhile, Atiku has named a former Thisday editor, Paul Ibe, as his
spokesman and the head of the Atiku Media Office.


Ibe’s appointment became necessary following the appointment of long-
time Atiku spokesman, Garba Shehu as the special assistant to President
Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity.
Prior to Ibe’s appointment, he was the deputy to Shehu. He also served
as deputy to Shehu in the Muhammadu Buhari presidential campaign
organisation.
