The England international scored his

Daniel
Sturridge scored twice as Liverpool eased the pressure on manager Brendan
Rodgers with victory over Aston Villa.
James Milner gave the hosts the lead inside two minutes before combining with Sturridge after the break as the England striker volleyed past Brad Guzan.
Rudy Gestede pulled one back for Tim Sherwood's side from close-range, but Sturridge looked to have sealed the three points for the Reds as he finished with aplomb from Philippe Coutinho's backheel pass.
Gestede had other ideas, however, as he netted his second of the match with a powerful header, but Rodgers's side hung on to register a first league win in five matches.
