It's one thing asking for all the red M&Ms be taken out
of the bowl of chocolates you've demanded in your dressing room but
wanting a helicopter, house for your entire family, unlimited travel to
your home country and a private beach might just be taking the whole
added perks thing to a new level!
Roma forward Gervinho looks set to leave the Italian club and he was looking likely to move to the footballing powerhouse of Abu Dhabi to sign for Al Jazira. With everything looking to be set, as Roma were happy to let the former Arsenal forward go, the move collapsed on Monday due to the Ivorian's demands.
Gervinho genuinely demanded use of a helicopter whenever he wanted, accommodation for his family, trips back to the Ivory Coast and a private beach for him and his family on top of whatever his wages were going to be, and we know they wouldn't be cheap. And he didn't even ask for a better hairdresser!
