Aisha Buhari distributes Presidential campaign donations.

Aisha Buhari with her daughters observed the Eid el-Fitr prayers at the Ansar-Ud-Deen Mosque in Abuja.

The president’s wife, Aisha Buhari, has distributed some items to women
associations in the 44 local governments of Kano state.
Some women groups, Torrey Home, VVF Centre and Elderly Home in the state
received bags of rice and cartons of tomato paste.
Premium Times reports that Mrs Buhari was represented by the wife of a
former military administrator of Kaduna state, Zainab Isah.

“The wife of Mr. President, Hajiya Aisha Buhari, has directed me to announce
to you that she is always happy to be associated with your welfare and
happiness in life,” Isah said.

She said that Mrs. Buhari is grateful to the recipients because they had
elected her husband as president.

“This shows how committed you are in searching for lasting solutions for the
age-long, perennial problems facing our great country Nigeria,” she stated.
Isah noted that the president’s wife bought the items with the donations she
received during Muhammadu Buhari’s presidential campaign.
Speaking on behalf of the Kano women, one of the women, Najaatu
Mohammed, thanked Mrs Buhari and described the gesture as a global
phenomenon where campaign donations could also be used to help elderly
and vulnerable ones.
