Tribute to the Stars - Odunlade Adekola - Nigerian actor, Film-maker, Producer and Director.


Odunlade Adekola
Odunlade Adekola (born December 31, 1978) is a Nigerian actor, film-maker, producer and director.

He is one of the most popular Yoruba actors in Nigeria.

He was born and raised in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria, but he is from Ekiti State.

He had his First school leaving certificate at Saint John R.C.M Primary School Abeokuta, and then proceeded to Saint Peters College, Olomore, Abeokuta. More photos after the cut...
He bagged his National Diploma at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic.

Odunlade is, currently, studying Business Administration at the University of Lagos (UNILAG).
 He began acting in 1996, the same year he joined the Association of Nigeria Theatre Arts practitioners and was under the tutelage of the late actor and producer, Isola Durojaiye, also known as Alasari.
His first appearance on the big screen was in the movie titled “Asiri Gomina Wa”.
 He had starred, scripted, produced and directed several Nigerian films over the years. 
On April 2014, he won the Africa Movie Academy Award, having emerged as best actor of the year alongside Fathia Balogun who emerged as best actress of the year.
Odunlade is married to Ruth Abosede Adekola (a born again Christian). They are blessed with kids.
