Queen Latifah says she's finally ready to have a baby.
While doing press for her new film 'Miracles From Heaven', Queen Latifah, 46, told E! News that she's ready to have a baby
"I had some things to deal with. I had to get a lot of partying out of my system early in life for about 40 years. You know what I'm saying. I'm good now. I think I'm ready."
"I can't say what God has for me, but you will see. You'll see when I'm lugging the baby on the hip that there is actually a youngin around here."
"Maybe I'll adopt a child that's not necessarily a baby. There are a lot of kids that need love out there. I want to be there for somebody. I got to get all this stuff and give it somebody."

Power generation drops to 1,580 MW.
Power generation in the country has dropped to 1, 580 MW in the last
three days resulting in blackout presently being experienced in some
parts of the country. Senior officials at Power Holding Company of
Nigeria, PHCN, attribute the decrease in power generation to a partial
system collapse at the Shiroro dam in Niger state and the activities of
gas pipeline vandals in the Niger Delta region.

Buhari speaks on MTN fine, says the telecommunications inaction contributed to high Boko Haram casualties.
President Buhari today made his first public statement about the N780
million fine the National Communications Commission NCC, slammed on MTN
over the failure to deactivate 5.1 million unregistered sim cards.
Speaking at a joint press conference with visiting South African
president Jacob Zuma, Buhari said the slow registration of Nigerians on
the MTN network led to the death of many Nigerians during Boko Haram
attacks. He said many terrorist now use unregistered lines ..
“This is the first time I will be personally as a president making a public comment about it. The concern of the federal government is basically on the security and not the fine imposed on MTN. You know how the unregistered GSM are being used by terrorists. And between 2009 and today, at least 10,000 Nigerians were killed by Boko Haram. That was why NCC asked MTN, Glo and the rest of them to register GSM. Unfortunately, MTN was very, very slow and contributed to the casualties”he said.

Alleged mastermind of 2010 Abuja bombing, Charles Okah, undergoes anal surgery, trial suspended.
The Federal High court in Abuja has suspended the trial of the alleged
mastermind of the October 1, 2010 bombing in Abuja, Charles Okah, after
it learnt Okah is currently recuperating at the National Hospital Abuja,
where he had a haemorrhoids (piles) surgery.
At the resumed hearing of the trial yesterday, February 22, 2016, the prosecuting counsel, Alex Izinyon. (SAN), asked for an adjournment of the case following Okah’s health status
“The first defendant (Okah) was, on February 18, taken to the National Hospital for surgery and as of this morning (Monday) he is still there. I confirmed from the prison officials that he is there. Though he was willing to be brought here for the trial, I did not buy that because I needed to hear from the medical personnel handling him. In the light of this, I ask for a short adjournment. By then we hope that he will be strong enough for the trial to continue.”he said.
The presiding judge, Justice Gabriel Kolawole, granted his request and adjourned the case to March 10th and 14th; April 19th, 26th and 27th as well as May 3rd.
